After all the slack that MS got over the 360 launch..
It sounds like it's be just a piece of kak anyway.. We DON'T want just special effects.. Top notch story, directing and acting..
If anything I'd like to see it to be a mix of thriller, sci-fi and action..

You are not required to buy a HD DVD, I don't give a damn about HD-DVD or BLURAY, DVD is fine for me...

There's ALWAYS something better around the corner.. But as far as the 360 is concerned, it's here and it's now. The games are weeks away. Get one now before they sell out for Xmas..

Doubt it. Any ideas the kind of hardware it takes to drive that res at a good frame rate. Unlikely we'll see much use of it on the 360 OR the PS3.
Me, Even if I had the choice, I'd drop the res (just a bit) to boost the frame rate up..
But it does take money, and time. Unfortunately these are both things that Sony does not have.
The problem especially here is that if Sony falter, Xbox live could become the main selling point for the 360 with Sony trying to play catchup. This could cost them the market.
Me: Have a 360, but am seriously considering a PS3 just because it supports dolby 7.1 and that's been wasted on the Xbox/Xbox 360 so far.
Interestingly, I also suspect that PC games will port to the 360 with greater ease too.. Remember, many gamers are already using dual core machines and their architecture isn't all that different from the 360's (in terms of general purpose CPUs).
Wow, Now I just need to see a list of Source engined PC games and just wait for them to appear on the 360..
As long as I'm not FORCED to watch all that damn CGI, I for one will just skip it..
Not to release the 360 with a decent Jap RPG. They've sold more consoles in the week then all year and thanks to a single game.
Still, a good move. Now, it'd be great to see some of the Jap publishers taking note and would love to see some of them over here..
I want dark atmospheric RPGs.. Anything based on Akira??
